The Challenge

How can we build a relationship with customers using physical space? With the declining need for bank branches, the brief was to pitch an innovative plan that reimagines the use of bank spaces and provides competitive advantage.

A winning concept pitch to the Commonwealth Bank - Commpanion is a reimagination of the physical bank space.

The Big Idea

We wanted CBA to stand out by leading in a target market that has yet to be explored in this problem space - parents and their children. CBA is already dominating in this target market with Dollarmites and the Start Smart program. Commpanion is a 3-part solution.

Application

Children raise virtual pets by earning elixir through completing tasks and goals set by parents. This feature can be integrated into the existing Youth App.

Commpanion HQ

Special branches with virtual reality experiences that interact with a playground. Children can physical explore the space and play games with their virtual pets.

Commpanion Events

Events hosted at the Commpanion HQ to collect special items and play with other children. Parents can use these to reward children.
