A website redesign for the Sydney-based fund manager to impress potential investors and tenants.

Client: April Group

The Brief

April Group is an expert in commercial buildings investments, as well as property management. Our goal for the new website was to impress potential investors through clear communication of April Group's values and strategies. At the same time, the site was a platform to attract potential tenants.

My Role

I appreciate a deep understanding in the projects that I work on. Through my background in design thinking, I am able to facilitate discussions between the client and designers, as well as provide suggestions when required.

Prepared Initial Workshop

Prepared workshop materials to guide discussion with the client, so that we have a better understanding of their target market. From here, we also worked closely together to create the hierarchy of information to be feature on the site and finalise the scope of the project.

Managed the Timeline

Managed the timeline using Gantt chart and a waterfall process across design, development, testing and content population.

Created Content Guides

Prepared content guide documents for the client so that they have a clear understanding of what content needs to be created. A clear guide of any limits and rules eliminates double work, ensuring the project is completed in a timely manner.

CMS Population and Training

Populated the site using Umbraco and created training documents for the client to follow when uploading their own content in the future.
